Randy Weinberger, Executive Vice President & General Manager
As an expert in telecommunications technologies, issues, and trends, Mr. Weinberger has guided the development of new products and services,
as well as the establishment of strategic relationships for General Telecom.
Previously, he was in charge of the sales of New Global Telecom's
network management services as well as product development. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Weinberger held various titles at Sakon, a division of the
Titan Corporation. During his tenure, Sakon grew from a start-up company with 4 employees and no revenue to a $40 million company with over 80 employees.
Michael A. Burns recently joined General Telecom as Executive Vice President with responsibility for Wholesale, Enterprise and Alternate Channels. He is a twenty-five year telecom veteran having begun his industry service in sales at MCI. Mr. Burns career is one marked by ever-increasing responsibility. These assignments include in-depth senior sales management as VP of Sales for ViTel Communications, Vice President of PT-1 Communications, and VP of Sales for Star Telecommunications where he lead a nationwide retail sales organization of over 100 sales and support staff.
In 2003, Burns co-founded Mundetel Communications Inc., a licensed facilities based carrier serving primarily the Latin American wholesale market as well as over 600 retail locations.
