General Telecom has partnered with IVR Technologies to offer Talking SIP™ as a managed service. Talking SIP™ is an advanced software solution for next generation SIP based networks that brings the network to life. Communicating directly with industry leading softswitches, gateways, IADs and IP phones, Talking SIP™ functions as a fully integrated application, media and billing server, providing leading, in-demand enhanced service applications to the network along with real-time prepaid, postpaid and multi-level billing models with real-time call cut off.

Scaling from 30 sessions to over 9,600 sessions, Talking SIP™ is a readily extensible communications platform that can grow alongside your network over time and provides for the most efficient allocation of network resources. With a licensing model that readily supports centralized or scaled out deployment models, Talking SIP™ allows organizations the flexibility to decide how best to build out their network without additional licensing costs.

APPLICATIONS

  • Prepaid and Postpaid calling cards
  • Automatically perform certain billing or replenishment operations on accounts
  • Class 4 tandem switching where the platform answers calls and authenticates, rates, routes and then rapidly terminates the call through the platform
  • Advertising/content messages streamed to callers, using a third party Advertising (or In-Call Media) Server like Voodoovox
  • HTML-based account management for the end user
  • The Find Me Module, also referred to as One Number Locator, Follow-Me or Simultaneous Ring
  • Intelligent E-mail Agent allows system reports such as traffic analysis, call summaries or billing records to be extracted from Talking SIP™ and automatically e-mailed at predefined intervals
  • Registration and Location Services Module makes it possible to register and locate any SIP devices (IADs, IP Phones, Softphones, etc.) directly with Talking SIP for authentication and on-net/off-net call routing,
  • The Reminder Module provides appointment, reminder and wake-up services to Talking SIP™. Prepaid and postpaid accounts are automatically authenticated based on the caller's ANI or IP address, or callers can be manually authenticated via DTMF key press.
  • The smartphone applications for Talking SIP provide Windows Mobile and Blackberry users with the ability to easily place calling card and callback calls from their mobile devices using its contact database.
  • The Voice Mail and PBX Module brings voice mail, PBX/MBX, auto-attendant (ACD) and audio-text services to Talking SIP. Seamlessly integrated into the other enhanced services.
